Notebook MV Splitter ("the App") is a desktop application for video splitting and PDF editing. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your data. In short: it doesn't collect any.

Information We Do NOT Collect

The App does not collect, transmit, or store any of the following:

• Personal information (name, email, address, phone number)
• Video or PDF file contents
• Usage data or analytics
• Location data
• Device identifiers or telemetry
• Cookies or tracking data

Local Processing Only

All video splitting (via FFmpeg) and PDF editing (via OpenCV and pdf-lib) is performed entirely on your local machine. No files are uploaded to any server. No internet connection is required for the App's core features.

Microsoft Store License

The App uses the Microsoft Store licensing API to verify your purchase status (Free Trial or Pro). This is handled entirely by the Windows operating system and Microsoft Store infrastructure. We do not have access to your Microsoft account information or purchase details.

Local Storage

The App stores your preferences (theme, language, split settings) locally on your device using standard Electron/browser storage. This data never leaves your computer and can be cleared by uninstalling the App.

Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. The only external communication is with the Microsoft Store for license verification on Windows.

Children's Privacy

Since the App does not collect any personal data, it is safe for users of all ages. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Since the App does not collect data, changes are unlikely to be significant.
